District V Director Sharon Parks greeted guests and called the meeting to order

Beverly Buller sold copies of her book during the breakfast time as guests were arriving. She also presented the William Allen White nominees for the upcoming selection and spoke about the award, as well as announcing the date for the 60th award ceremony.

During breaks, guests were encouraged to select books to take home to their own libraries. The books were donated by Reading Circle, ABDO Publishing, and Gumdrop Books.

Tiffany Jarvis, 6th grade teacher at Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center in Garden City, presented on technology sites with ideas for uses in our libraries.
