Conference Attendees:
Just a little bit of information you might need before coming to conference. There has been some changes in programs due to rooms and time slots. We will be having the KASL general business (a few door prizes will be given out) meeting on Friday, October 16th during the 1st break (right after the keynote speaker), we will be having district meetings on Saturday, October 17th during the 1st break (right after the keynote speaker). We have added a breakout session featuring Harvey Daniels during session IV. We have moved the Watch & Talk session to Friday, October 16th from 4:30 to 6:00. We will have KASL items for sale at the conference and AASL trilogy of standards books. You will get the member discount but will not have to pay shipping and handling on the AASL books. I have ordered 75 copies of each.
Now for a little help. I could use help manning the Internet Cafe throughout the conference. I thought I would have all the students who were supposed to volunteer but only about 10 have done so. If you would be willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Besides working on this year's conference, I have started working on next year. The dates and location have been set and I have arranged for our keynote speaker (I am not going to tell you now, or why would you attend the business meeting?) Arrangements are being made for a great national preconference again next year and a very special luncheon on the 1st day. More information to come.
