The team ate at Peking in Junction City, our favorite Asian restaurant in the area, on the way home from Chapman. The House Beef, Sweet and Sour Soup, and Crab Rangoon are particularly fantastic.

The Scholars' Bowl team opened their season by winning four out of nine matches in an extremely tough field of teams. For full results, take a look at the Scholars' Bowl page.
Scholars' Bowl is really about where the team eats afterward, though, and Monday evening the team ate at the dubiously-named Do-B's Burger Barn just east of the college on 12th Ave. The refurbished Dairy Queen is cleverly decorated, friendly, and clean, and customers can watch the cooks grill up the burgers. Levi Koepsel recommended the OMG Burger, and it was fantastic. Be hungry because Do-Bs does not skimp on the portions. They also have Philly Cheesesteaks and Po-Boys, great sides, and good desserts.

Atmosphere: Charming and super clean
Food: Delicious. The chips were amazing even without the cheese. We recommend the chimichanga dinner.
Service: Like all small-town cafe's, Al's never knows how many are going to show up for dinner. One waitress served many diners Thursday night. They still managed well, though at one point Randy fetched our own refills. We can do that for such a nice dinner at such a low price.
Oh, and did we mention that we won League Scholars' Bowl?
