Buttery Crab Bread Pudding

While some of you will cringe in disgust when you hear the words "bread pudding," this reaction is based upon ignorance. Bread pudding might sound mildly unappetizing, but it is simply buttered bread with custard poured over it. Buttery Crab Bread Pudding is made with seasoned crabmeat stuffed in between sliced bread, and trust me, it is delicious: salty and crunchy on top while sea-foody and custard-like on the bottom, this decadent, rich, fishy dish is a delicious one dish meal.  

Butter Beer!

Where do I even start describing this divine slushie given to us by the Chosen One? For those that don’t know or aren’t geeky enough to openly acknowledge that you know, butter beer is the non-alcoholic alternative to fire whiskey for young wizards not yet of an appropriate age. 

While Rowling gave us butter beer, she left the taste of it up to our imaginations, giving rise to an explosion of different recipes online. While I had countless recipes to choose from, I ended up deciding on Feast of Fiction’s recipe, which you can find on their YouTube channel if you are interested.

The butter beer I made was pretty much a cream soda butterscotch slushie with homemade whipped cream foam. While simple sounding, this is probably the most delicious and fully flavored slushie I have ever had. So I highly recommend making yourself a mug of butter beer, best enjoyed lounging at the Three Broom Sticks with your two favorite pals.
