The Ultimate Leadership Experience

Council Grove FCCLA got a firsthand taste of “The Ultimate Leadership Experience” last Wednesday at District D elections.

Ally Hower, Jessica Filkin, and Abi Shearer were elected as district officers for the 22-23 school year. Jessica and Ally will serve as co-VPs of STAR Events and Abi will serve as the VP of Power of One. With this election, Council Grove will have had a district officer for eight years in a row!

🥇Myles Gant received a gold in Leadership level three (state runner up)

🥇Jocelyn Skaggs received a gold in Career Investigation level one ✨state qualifier✨

🥈Abi Shearer received a silver in Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation level two ✨state qualifier✨

🥈 Wyatt LeMay and Kiele Tyner received a silver in Repurpose and Redesign level 2two

🥈Jessica Filkin received a silver in National Programs in Action level three (state runner up)

🥈 Mariah Elstun received a silver in Career Investigation level two

🥉Mallory Wells, Madi Brown, and Alex Solis received a bronze in repurpose and redesign level one ✨state qualifier✨

The Council Grove chapter also received the following awards:

🏆 highest percentage of power of one participants

🏆 highest percentage increase in chapter members

🏆 second highest percentage of members participating in STAR Events

🏆 second highest category in social media chapter publicity
