3A Sub-State Basketball

Council Grove High School is hosting the Class 3A Sub-State Basketball Tournament next week. Dates for the tournament will be:

Tuesday, March 1st: Boys quarterfinal game - 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, March 3rd: Girls Semi Finals: 2 games @ 6:00 and 7:30

Friday, March 4th: Boys Semi Finals: 2 games @ 6:00 and 7:30

Saturday, March 5th: Girls and Boys Finals: 2 games @ 6:00 and 7:30

KAY Unit Conference

Burlingame hosted the KAY Unit Conference Friday, February 18. Zach Bomberger, Bailey Castillo, Tristin Burns, and Hannah Vondemkamp attended with sponsor Jan Troxell. In between ice breaker activities, speakers, and team building sessions, everyone played Ninja and ate together.

District FBLA Competition

                

Michelle Filkin and Mary Alsobrooks perform in the Business Ethics event.

On Friday February 18 and Wednesday February 23 FBLA participated in their district competitions. Friday’s competition consisted of objective tests taken at Wellsville and then a stop in Ottawa for lunch. Wednesday’s competition consisted of performances at ESU and a stop at Applebee’s. Council Grove took 6^th over all, a big feat with their small numbers.
