Computers and Network Load

The worst picture ever of Gibbs, a cart of 24 Chromebooks.

Last Thursday, I added an additional cart of Chromebooks. While the additional devices are great to have, they put a strain on our network. 

While our infrastructure is good, we purchased no additional bandwidth this year, so when everything is up and running, that's over 243 devices at the High School - Jr. High alone--not counting teacher computers and whatever else I forgot. SO, when things begin to slow down, remember that video and music put additional strain on the bandwidth that we are sharing and already stretching to its limits.
