In honor of Dr. Seuss, March is designated as Read Across America month. To celebrate the month, we decided to determine which books from our collection represent each state. Library aide Elana Spittles searched the library catalog to come up with a list of books. Senior Jordyn Picolet drew a map of the United States, and senior Jessica Filkin did the lettering on the poster. We were surprised to learn that we have at least one book for every state except South Dakota!
