After reading the book Around the World by Mark Phelan, students in Mrs. Malcolm's 7th grade ELA classes are researching a place they'd like to visit. Each student group was assigned a continent, and they are busy locating a site of interest and learning more about that place. To help them with their research, they visited the library for a lesson on using the school's library catalog resources and some tips to make Google "do the work" for them. Students will create trifolds and share information learned with authentic audiences.
