Campus Bird Helps You Find College Information

After you tell Campus Bird a few details about what you are looking for, it produces a list of colleges that meet your criteria. When you pick one of the schools, it kicks back its location with Google Earth, along with specific information about majors, admissions data, expenses, majors, students, athletics, special programs, and weather. When brainstorming possible college plans, Campus Bird looks like a great place to start.

Concentration and Distraction

All of us overestimate our ability to multitask, and drivers are no exception. Despite what you might think, you cannot write a love letter and listen in class at the same time. Texting and driving is the same. The New York Times has developed a game to prove it.

You gotta love a good dictionary site, and MacMillan has one of the best. I especially like the brain training games, including a killer Irregular Verb Wheel. Yes, you heard me. I am recommending an Irregular Verb Wheel. Take a look.

Netvibes Ubercool Replacement for iGoogle, Among Other Things

I've been looking for something to replace iGoogle and netvibes might just be it. True, it has a bit of a learning curve to it, but, my, the things it will let you do! You can customize everything from your themes to your rss feeds, and widgets are available for practically everything. I started with a prefab design dashboard and am in the process of developing my own dashboard with just the (very few) things I want to follow. So far I am very, very impressed.
