Anybody who works on more than one computer and has been frustrated by the inevitable fact that whatever you want to work on is on the OTHER computer will want to look at David Pogue's article on Microsoft's Free Sync Service. It works on both PC and Mac platforms and looks very, very good, though I have not tried it yet.
David Pogue is usually fairly sensible so I tend to trust his recommendation. The kind of syncing that I don't have to think about is what I have been searching for lo, these many years, and it sounds more reliable than using some third party backup service. Sure, the third party service usually works fairly well, but it sometimes takes forever to do, depending on how robust the network is at the time, and I still have to think about it too much. I don't want to have to think about this AT ALL. I just want my stuff to be there when I want to work on it. (MHouse)
