The Dalai Lama will be appearing on Larry King Live tonight. Normally, it takes the DL about five years to recover from a Larry King interview. Personally, I'm beginning to have trouble distinguishing between Dalai Lama: Spiritual Leader and Dalai Lama: Political Pawn, but then, what American doesn't know Next to Nothing about Tibet?
Before school on Thursday, Zak W. was staring at the computer screen while we were discussing the DL appearance on Larry King Live, and he suddenly intoned, "Some paths are shorter than others."
I said, "Is that something the Dalai Lama said?"
"No," Zak replied with Zenlike calm, "That is what the game is telling me."
(Pause)
"It's not a quote at all."
(Pause)
"That's what it says right there on the screen."
What can I say? Spiritual Enlightenment is common in the CGHS Library. (MH)
