Nancy Werlin is a new author to me. Previous to this book I
had never even heard of her. However, I must say that I do like this book very
much. If you are into fantasy/romances, then I think you would like it too. This book is inspired by the
ballad “Scarborough Fair”.
The
women of Lucy Scarborough’s family have been cursed through the generations to complete three impossible tasks, or they will turn crazy upon their
first child’s birth. Lucy is seventeen when she discovers this, but for the
first time she won’t be the only one fighting the curse. She has her foster
parents, and, even more important, the boy next door, Zach. (Kelsey Siegrist)
