What do you do when you hit that wall and can't decide what to read next? All you can think about is the LAST book you really liked and nothing in the library looks all that great.
Some great web sites exist to help you out when you reach that point of desperation, and they will always show up along the right side of this blog page. They are all free resources available from any computer with access to the web, and if this library does not have the book you want, we can order it for you. Who knows? If it is popular enough, we might just order it to be a permanent part of the collection.
If you want to fuss with a rather expensive site that does the same thing, go to the
State Library of Kansas site and click on Explore Our Resources. That link will take you to the online databases free to every Kansas citizen. One of those databases is a book recommendation site called Novelist. (It is the first link on the right under "Specialized Information".)
If you play around with any of these sites very long, you won't be puzzled about what to read next.
