Pomposity is a Good Thing.

This week, I found myself at an East Village Opera Company concert, sort of against my will, and I must say, they ROCKED. "By embracing what Peter Kiesewalter calls 'the pomposity of rock and the pomposity of opera' without demeaning or satirizing either form, the East Village Opera Company flies . . . ."
